Tasha Jean Harris
I was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and lived there until I matriculated to Mars Hill
College. I was awarded scholarships for academics, volleyball and track. While there
I was a member of Delta Zeta sorority . I graduated with a Bachelor of Science
degree. After college I obtained my Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from
East Carolina University.
For three years I practiced with an Ob-Gyn group, then joined an Internal Medicine
group in Rocky Mount. I joined Nelms Family and Preventive Medicine in 2010. I enjoy
the wide spectrum of patients that I see in Family Medicine.
I have been happily married since 2004 and have two wonderful children. My family
and I attend Hocutt Baptist Church in Clayton, NC where I am an active leader of
AWANA. I enjoy camping with my family and a large group of friends.
